Since
you are using a peer-to-peer Win 95/98 configuration, try the following:
1) On
the computer with TRADATA, go to Start-Settings-Control Panel-System.
2) Go to
the Performance tab and select File System.
3) Use
the Typical Role pull-down and pick Network Server.
4) Click
OK all the way out and restart each workstation and see if it works faster.
If you
have somebody working on the "server" it will usually slow it
down. The above fix will help speed it
up but it won't be as fast as a dedicated "server" in a server/client
configuration.
